“Civil Voices Festival”, organized by Civil Society Development Center (STGM) from the 25th to the 27th of September in İstanbul, sets out to be the festival of civil society organizations in Turkey. The theme of the festival, organized for the first time this year, was “Civil Society and Change.” The motivation behind the festival was helping civil society organizations to come together to promote the emergence of a strong civil society, and to render the differences that occur in those NGOs’ areas of activity visible. Our utmost goal was to promote the festival, created within the context of our ongoing project ‘Supporting Civil Society Development and Dialogue in Turkey’, founded by the European Union.  We wished to increase the visibility and sustainability of the festival with your support.
